Caligula

Caligula more properly gauis was the third Roman emperor next in line to Tiberius. He is  down in history  perhaps unfairly as Rome’s most  emperor, but since we lack Tacitus’ account of his short reign and  it is impossible to know the truth behind the less tame  stories.Caligula had three sisters with he were alleged to have committed incest and they were given unprecedented public honours, being included in the soldier’s oath of allegiance. But Drusilla died in 38 AD, and the next year Agrippina and Livilla were exiled for involvement in a conspiracy. Caligula was assassinated  on January 24, 41 AD by the Praetorian Guard. The reason for which  he was murdered was because he was a cruel and unpredictable leader who would kill anybody who he felt was a threat and only one of his family members survived and that was Claudius who he mocked and made fun of plus humiliating him in public because of  the stutter he had
